Hi, I’m Mignon. For more than 20 years, I have served students with disabilities, supported families navigating complex educational systems, coached educators, and advocated for diverse learners both professionally and personally.
Over the years, I became known not only for my expertise in special education, but for helping others navigate difficult transitions with empathy, strategy, and hope.
But behind the titles and service to others, I was learning how to rebuild after burnout, debt, heartbreak, exhaustion, and major life changes of my own.
Travel teaching became more than a career shift. It became a pathway toward professional freedom, financial restoration, flexibility, and rediscovering peace in life.
